Film News This Week
So this week we have seen some pretty decently huge news and it is terribly classy. So I'm just going to cannonball straight into this because, by Odin's beard this weel has produced some great stuff.
The Good News
(S'up Jay-Z, we just be talking about movies again)
This first piece of great news is about as big as a whale's vagina (or as it's normally known, San Deigo.) It's the kind of news that has had all your friends proclaiming their love for electrical wear, dousing themselves with "Sex Panther" and drinking milk on those epically sunny news. From the legend himself, it was announced that Paramount and Adam McKay (director) have finalised a deal for an ANCHORMAN 2! One of the most genuiely funny comedies of the 21st centuary is spawning a sequel and well I usually condone sequels I am refuting all my beliefs and saying that this is going to be awesome. The plot is unknown and it isn't 100% that the film is going to be brilliant but I'm still jumping up and down in my seat.
(Out of sheer joy, I'll be growing that mustache)
Have you calmed down yet? Good because keeping you in that high I have some more. Pixars have released several character posters for their up and coming new move "Brave." Set in the heart of Scotland, Brave tells the story of Princess Merida who shocks the country when she defies the wishes of her mother Queen Elinor. It's Pixar so that means the film will be awash with wonderfully beautiful digital art. Just check out these characters and see for yourself. With voice talents of Emma Thompson and Billy Connelly, Brave is going to be amazing. Epesically seeing as this is the latest Disney Princess who isn't from America and doesn't sound like she is from America.
(Disney Pixar, proving that gingers have souls everywhere)
From time to time there is a musical created that is just plain awesome. Whether it is the haunting "Phantom Of The Opera," the modern "Mamma Mia!" or goth "Repo! The Genetic Opera" (last time I mention it, I promise,) musicals will always have a place in this world. Rock Of Ages is no different and the hair rock anthemic musical is hitting our screens. And it looks EPIC! Staring the likes of Tom Cruise ,Alec Baldwin Catherine Zeta-Jones and Russell Brand, Rock Of Ages is about a small town girl, Sherrie who wants to make it big in one of Americas biggest venues alongside Staciee Jaxx, the biggest Rock Star ever. Check out the trailer here.

This ain't no Glee. It's pure rock.
(By the way, that's Tom Cruise.)
The Bad News
(Like a thousand kittens drowning)
I'll start the first piece of bad news with a story; only last night I was watching an Adam Sandler double bill. While I'll happily enjoy the wonderful Wedding Singer and the joyful Happy Gilmore, I found myself, for some reason, watching Little Nicky and Anger Management. I am now fully clear on the reason why Adam Sandler was nominated and won for so many Razzies (all of them) for the horrible Jack And Jill and Just Go With Me. So it's offcial, I dislike Adam Sandler.
That is why it pains me to announce that he releasing another movie, a remake of 1987's Summer School.
(No, no it isn't)
Finally, talking about movie stars that just don't seem to get it (that it being talent,) we have Ashton Kutcher. While he was a sure fire hit with Punk'd and That 70's Show, his film, career has been a misshaped bag of misfires. So it's sad that he is now being considered for the role of Steve Jobs in the biopic about the man. Yeah, I can't see the resemblence either.
(Oh wait.
HOLY.....)
