Cookie N Screen On Tour: Chicago.

The Windy City is might pretty according to Calamity Jane and many hollywood film makers think so. The beautiful city is featured in many movies such as Candyman and Child's Play. Oh, those films are super creepy and scary. But lots more movies and blockbusters were filmed in some famous or secret locations.

I got to take a look at them first hand; here are some of my favourites.

This is the Rainbo club. On North Damen, Wicker Park and is pretty much tucked away down a side street. This bar is where Robert propsed awkwardly to Laura over an awkward lunch in High Fidelity! With $2 dollar beers, that's not a big surprise.

Lake Shore Drive has been featured in many movies from Feris Buller's Day Off to Risky Business. Along here though, in Risky Business at Belmount Harbour, Joel loses his fathers porche into Lake Michegan.

This bridge, Michigen Avenue Bridge, onward to the Magnificent Mile took place in High Fidelity, The Dark Knight, The Blues Brothers and also The Untouchables!

The Art Insitution was featured quite randomly in the hilarious Feris Buller's Day Off as the gang take a trip inside.

Here is Navy Pier whose Ballroom was featured in The Color Of Money (as in supposed to be Atalantic City but then again the majority of this city is supposed to be Gotham.)

This famous bean structure called The Cloud Gate in Millenium Park fits in at home in the weird and surreal Source Code.

The Dark Knight

Chicago is more famously known as Gotham City in Christopher Nolans Batman movies. Many locations feature heavily in the dramatic new take on The Dark Knight.

Here is the bar where Liutenant Gordon arrests Maroni and the other mob bosses as they wine and dine.

The Loop system as part of the CTA in Chicago is featured heavily in the series and (although not here) down Lake Street is where Bruce rushes down in his Lamborghini.

At the Police Commissoners funeral at South LaSalle street where The Joker hides within the crowd.

On Navy Pier, again, is where the inmates and public of Gotham are evacuated only to find themselves trapped in The Jokers game.

There is also the famous Willis Tower (Formerly Sears) is where Batman constantly survey's the City.

Chicago is a top city to love and for many movie reasons.

Homing Batman is one of them.
